Christmas Quilt in Progress

So I decided to make a throw size Christmas quilt for the living room couch.  The design is meant to match the table runner I did a few years back . . .



and the door banner I made last year.


So here's what I have so far:


It's a little tough to get a good pic in my sewing room even with all the lights on, but I am relegated to indoor photos today. The proportions are a little different for the quilt as compared to the runner because I want the quilt to be a certain size. So this tree is shorter and fatter.  :)  

Next step is 32 red  print 6 1/2 - inch squares for the border. Then some applique for ornaments. Finished size should be 48 x 60.

So what are you working on? I can't wait to see!

    I adore the runner, gorgeous... My colours too!! Love the pattern of these wonderful pieces! Excellent work...saw it earlier this week and got called away so I didn't comment!! So impressive!!
