Art Journal Page Before and After

In some of the groups I frequent, people have been showing progress pics of their artwork. I am a member of Teesha Moore's Artstronauts Club and in the Facebook group people often post pics of their pages before and after pen work.  Pen work is my favorite part of this process so I thought I would do some process pics of my most recent page.  As I go along in working on a page I can forget what it looked like at the start and it is fun to be able to look back and remember how it started.  I think this could be an interesting idea no matter what style of art or journaling you are into.

Below is my "before" picture. The background is painted with Golden fluid Acrylics, then I collaged using a color copy of a face I had painted previously. I used pieces of my Gelli prints for all the other collage elements.

And below is the "after" shot. I added colored pencils, markers, and paint pens.  I find the penwork relaxing and meditative.  I may add more to this, but it needs to sit a few days.

Do you ever take pictures of your art process?
