Another Art Journal Page
Another page from my journal this week. This face is a color photocopy of an original drawing I did with markers. Mixed media with acrylics, collage, pencils. Oh and there's some washi tape in there, too and a sticker that came in the mail! I love recycling junk mail! :)
Do you ever recycle the junk mail into your art?
I'd love to see what you've been creating this week.
Linking up with Paint Party Friday.
Very creative page!
ReplyDeleteThanks Christine!
DeleteYes, I often use junkmail, better than throwing it out. Love your bright and cheery journal page. Happy Easter, happy PPF, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThanks Valerie! I hope your Easter was happy, too.
DeleteHi Laney! Your page is beautiful! That is a great question too. I think we are all afraid sometimes and don't even know why. I recycle just about everything I can. Except for the flowers this week, I normally paint on cardboard (now) and use the covers and backs of hardbacked books that the thrift store is going to throw out like encyclopedias and medical books. That leaves a lot of paper for collage too. My favorite painting that made it into a judged exhibition sold and it was painted on an OB/GYN book cover! Nothing in my house is safe...except my dog, lol! Happy Easter and big hugs, Rasz
ReplyDeleteHope you had a happy Easter! Love that you paint on old book covers. ;)
DeleteBeautiful! Yes I do paint on any good piece of junkmail... pieces of cardboard...my daughter always brings me pieces she thinks I may like!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Giggles
Thanks Giggles! It's like free art supplies in the mail. :)
DeleteYes I do recycle. Love your page. Have a wonderful Easter weekend.
