Another Art Journal Page

Another page from my journal this week. This face is a color photocopy of an original drawing I did with markers.  Mixed media with acrylics, collage, pencils.  Oh and there's some washi tape in there, too and a sticker that came in the mail! I love recycling junk mail!  :)

Do you ever recycle the junk mail into your art?

I'd love to see what you've been creating this week.

Linking up with Paint Party Friday.

  1. Yes, I often use junkmail, better than throwing it out. Love your bright and cheery journal page. Happy Easter, happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

  2. Hi Laney! Your page is beautiful! That is a great question too. I think we are all afraid sometimes and don't even know why. I recycle just about everything I can. Except for the flowers this week, I normally paint on cardboard (now) and use the covers and backs of hardbacked books that the thrift store is going to throw out like encyclopedias and medical books. That leaves a lot of paper for collage too. My favorite painting that made it into a judged exhibition sold and it was painted on an OB/GYN book cover! Nothing in my house is safe...except my dog, lol! Happy Easter and big hugs, Rasz
